Project Type: Older people

Monthly meeting in Church Hall for 30/40 mainly elderly, semi-housebound, and also Care Home residents who are brought by mini-bus. Refreshments on arrival, then choice of table games, arts & crafts, etc are offered. Ends with short Act of Worship. Project still in its infancy but showing signs of growth.

Our Story

Project stems from the Autumn 2015 week-long Holiday Club for Senior Citizens which we ran as part of our engagement with the Golden Age Project as part of the Guild’s 125th anniversary celebrations. There was general demand at the end of the week for something on a regular basis.
